Wednesday After School Football Club – Years 3 to 6

Our After School Football Club is committed to enhancing children’s football skills through a variety of engaging learning experiences and enjoyable small-sided matches. Our primary goal is to foster the development and growth of each child as they play alongside their peers in a secure, supportive, and fun atmosphere. We believe that football is not just about the game itself, but also about building friendships, teamwork, and confidence.

To celebrate the children’s achievements and encourage their progress, we present weekly stickers that can be proudly affixed to their certificates. This recognition not only boosts their self-esteem but also motivates them to continue improving and striving for excellence in their football journey.

Our coaching team are qualified and committed to delivering an exceptional experience for the children. Each coach is trained in child safeguarding, first aid, and holds an enhanced DBS certificate, which ensures they are prepared to manage any situation effectively while prioritising the safety of the children. We are committed to their continuous education by offering support through FA coaching courses. Many of our team also possess a Level 3 BTEC in Sports Coaching and a Level 3 qualification in Sport and Exercise Science.

We kindly request that all children come dressed in appropriate football attire and footwear to ensure their comfort and safety during play. Please note that metal studs are not permitted, and shin pads are mandatory for all participants. Additionally, we ask that all players adhere to our ‘Code of Conduct‘ throughout the season, which promotes respect, sportsmanship, and a positive environment for everyone involved.

By joining our After School Football Club, children not only improve their football skills but also learn valuable life lessons about teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. We look forward to an exciting school year filled with growth, fun, and memorable experiences on the pitch!
